KANAN is a platform that combines ancient Indian craftsmanship with a contemporary touch. Every region in India has its own style and authenticity. We are a proud creative house that works with artisans from regions across India, with diversified skills and techniques who showcase expertise and soul of their region. Our vision is to promote Indian Art and Culture while making it the heart and soul of a space.
At the heart of KANAN – the Art Space is Kanan Asher, a creative entrepreneur from Gujarat. With her roots deeply entwined in craft culture, Kanan has pushed the boundaries of art by creating landmarks and sculptures across India and internationally.
Kanan the Art Space feels proud to host Art Echo 2025, an art competition dedicated to nurturing and celebrating artistic talent. Designed as a platform for budding artists to express their creativity, this competition invites participants to showcase their creativity in one of the four mediums- be it painting, photography, sculpture, or mural.
With a focus on originality, storytelling, and technique– we encourage emerging voices to showcase their perspectives in a supportive, inspiring environment. Winners will not only receive recognition but also the opportunity to exhibit their work at Kanan, marking a significant step in their artistic journey.
